What this covers

This policy explains what information enneagram.work collects when you take an assessment, create an account, or read content on the site, and how we use that information.

Information we collect

  • Assessment responses. When you take the free or full assessment, we store your ratings and the resulting type so we can show you your results and improve the questions over time.
  • Account information. If you sign in, we store your email address. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we also receive basic profile details such as your name and profile photo from that provider.
  • Payment information. If you purchase the full assessment, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We retain a record of the purchase and the amount.
  • Usage and session data. We log basic technical information when you visit the site, including IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, screen size, referring source, marketing campaign tags (UTM parameters) from the link you arrived through, and which pages you view. This is used for analytics, debugging, and safety.

How we use this information

  • To show you your assessment results and let you return to them.
  • To send transactional emails such as your report, receipt, or sign-in link.
  • To improve the assessment, the site, and our content.
  • To prevent abuse and protect the integrity of the service.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted vendors to run the site. They process information on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

  • Supabase for authentication and database storage.
  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Resend for transactional email delivery.
  • Google and Facebook for optional sign-in.
  • Google Analytics for aggregate, privacy-conscious usage measurement.
  • Google for advertising measurement, via Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tracking, so we can understand which campaigns lead to sign-ups and purchases. These run only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Meta (Facebook) for advertising measurement, via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, so we can understand which campaigns lead to sign-ups and purchases. These run only after you accept analytics cookies.
  • Vercel for hosting and content delivery.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in, remember your in-progress assessment, and remember that you have unlocked your full results on the current device.

We also use analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can decline, and we will not load them. Your choice is stored on your device; clearing your browser storage will prompt the banner again.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

You can opt out of non-essential email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by visiting /unsubscribe. Essential messages tied to something you requested, such as a purchase receipt or a results PDF you asked us to send, are not affected.

How long we keep information

We keep your account and assessment data for as long as your account is active so you can return to your results. Purchase records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes. Usage and session logs are kept for a limited period for analytics and security, then aggregated or removed. You can ask us to delete your data sooner using the contact below.

Children

enneagram.work is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
